Hey, all! I'm Axle. I am 5 years old, 90 pounds, and have soft dark sable fur. I came into rescue after being boarded at vet’s office for several months when my owners got sick and couldn't care for me anymore. And while they took good care of me the vet’s office, I am really glad to be back in a home. I am full of energy and like to play. I would love a nice big yard to run and play in. This will help me get my energy out. I especially like balls and often carry one around with me in case anyone wants to play. I love attention and am very sweet. I will gladly climb into a lap to get that attention. I have manners but sometimes need to be reminded of them when I get excited. I'm a happy and confident boy.
I get along with everyone. In my foster home there is another dog, but he won't play with me. There are cats too and I sometimes I try to play with them but foster mom say’s I'm too big. But we get along pretty good otherwise. There are also kids here. I like kids. They are lots of fun and full of play, like me.
Mom says I would make a good hiking or jogging buddy. I mostly just want a home where I will loved and taken care of forever and played with endlessly. I travel well and am up for any adventure.
